This incredible rock trio, Ivan Mihaljevic & Side
Effects, is from Croatia. They have released other successful albums in the
past and this one is definitely a continuation of that brilliance.
I am very excited to make this one of my summer 2013 album’s
as the vibrant feel and eclectic mixture of songs is absolutely fantastic. The
vocals and instruments combine to create a wonderful sound. The songs are very
catchy and I’ve already listened to the album a few times on repeat!
The album as a whole emanates a confidence and it is clear
that each of these musicians has mastered their craft and is full of musical
talent. I’d never heard of the band before but I am very glad I have now. I’ve
already put a copy of this album in my car playlist because I enjoy it so much.
The album tackles many interesting issues and following the
lyrics is very interesting. I found myself humming the music for a few days
after I had first listened to it. As a result I quickly introduced it to my friends
who also really enjoyed the track and found themselves singing along in no
time.
Overall, I’d definitely recommend this fantastic album to
anyone seeking some new summer rock music.
I look forward to listening to more music by the same
artist.
